It’s important to investigate historical reasons each partner is stuck in your repetitive pattern so that they can identify the pattern when it’s repeated and make informed choices about how to proceed. It is equally important to help couples learn and experience ways to respond to issues that will enhance closeness. She attends several trainings a year to be current with the latest approaches and research.
